President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in a meeting with the governors
of the 36 states of the country at the Aso Villa in Abuja The Nation
reports.
The focus of the meeting between the president and the
state governors is expected to provide a solution to the problem of
outstanding salaries in some states.
The meeting was called
after the 36 state governors made an appeal for a presidential
intervention into the empty accounts and inability to pay civil and
state servants their salary.
As at the time this report came in, the meeting has just begun.
