President Jonathan has reportedly recovered from ‘indisposition’, a statement from senior special assistant to the president has said.

A statement by his spokesman yesterday reads “in the course of his on-going visit to London for a meeting of Nigeria’s Honorary International Investors’ Council, President Goodluck Jonathan became indisposed and could not be present at the opening of the meeting today (yesterday)”.
President Jonathan has since been examined by competent medical practitioners. He has been advised to rest for a few days.
The Presidency wishes to assure all Nigerians that President Jonathan’s condition is nothing serious and that the medical attention he has sought is only precautionary the statement reads..
But earlier today, his spokesman tweeted “president Jonathan recovers from indisposition, he is presiding over the HIIC meeting in London right now. Will deliver his address shortly.” See the tweet below.
However, the social media went agog yesterday after receiving the news of the hospitalization of President Jonathan.
While some said he had too much to drink from his elaborate 56th birthday celebration in his presidential in London, some said he has some stomach condition.
The real cause of President Jonathan’s hospitalisation has however not been ascertain.ed
